Creating Comics At Last

   I went on a live stream with Pops. The Comic Madness Network work fella and shilled like the wind for my book.Pops is talkative ,friendly American fellow that looks like Walder Frey Became a Heavy Metal Roadie .After hearing others sell their books , Mike Baron popped up on the stream. He was serious ,focused and cut right to the chase about his book ,it's inspiration and his opinions on BLM. It was a true pleasure to meet someone who's written comics longer than I've been alive and we both shared our unhappiness with the postal service  problems of our respective nations.His wife poked her head into the stream to show us her painted seashell art ,describing it as a "We make Art Shit"  And then he was gone. I was tired and flustered but happy I'd given it yet another go at selling the book. Shame I got no new sales. Oh well back to the drawing Board

   I'll Be honest with you here the campaign seems to have stalled.  After a great big fat Start Of which I was very happy with We seem to be grinding to a non-negotiable halt.We are at The half way point.If it doesn't hit the minimum funding goal It doesn't go into in demand store at all Multiple live streams and endless tweeting/posting on social media doesn't seem to have made a dent in the amount of funding I require. I'm at a loss to explain the drop off to be honest .I know I'm utterly unsuited for the world of marketing either things or myself.My creativity really doesn't seem to extend to novel and intriguing ways to con people in to buying the book.Another live stream next week.And another chance to Sell the bastarding book and hopefully expanded my customer base,Lets us pray it is the case.

  The campaign has launched And we one fifth of the way to victory. This time I've been on live streams to promote the book,and hopefully boost sale,exposure etc .I'm usually terrified of things like that but I do them anyway.Because I love comics and love being a writer of comics even more.After they end I feel excited and exhausted and then go immediately to sleep. Tired but happy

  The Date has been set,the curtain is about to be raised and the old familiar nervousness returns as I once again put my cock in the guillotine of public opinion.Will the book succeed? will it fail? will I get the love and adoration of strangers I've never met? Several pages are complete,hopefully  enough to entice prospective readers into buying the book.Last time the campaign was slow going but managed to scape to the finish line in the end.This time i dare not hope for it to get any easier I don't know if I've even begun to make a name for my self yet or paid any dues at all .I'm still just at the beginning of my career.The best I can say is they'll be less nasty surprises .The complicated task of learning to make a  print file from scratch with no experience or the international bank transfer confusion cannot whammy me again.So this time i'm looking for completely different challenge to explode at 3am on a sunday morning. and i'm still looking forward t...

 I'm taking a little break from comics and youtube to go off camping in the woods with 120 bisexual types.I'll also be volunteering to help out with cleaning ,running and various other tasks to make sure it all runs smoothly.A bus man's holiday as we used to call it. (A working holiday if you will). The pointless lock down has affected everyone for the worse,and it's been nearly two years since I've left Moseley.So I'm going to sit around a camp-fire, wonder in amongst the trees ,see the cliff houses and generally get drunk as a lord surrounded by nature.When I return to the city I shall hopefully be rested and ready for the rest of the project.   The second book has the cover and four pages done. When I get to five completed full coloured pages I shall launch the new campaign on Indiegogo and we can begin the stressful merry go round all over again. I really shouldn't be this nervous but I am. Campaigns can fail based on small details . Life is funny like that.

 Comxiology has turned down Kreekraw and Kris :Must Be Destroyed for there site.The PDF was too low in resolution and the age restrictions I chose were too relaxed, apparently.The comic with prostitution ,cop killing bare naked aliens, brutal murders, poisoning  ,penal escape and the destruction of a major industrial complex was too much for 15 year olds.and the swearing of course. So now I remake the PDF with a higher resolution(I previously used the Email version) and choose a more restrictive age range on the book to account for people squealing like girls when someone sees a titty.   A delay not a defeat.
