Creating Comics At Last

 The end is nigh.  I have just Sent off the final five inked pages to be coloured by Mr Ybanez.Soon I'll have The whole thing utterly completed and I'll be left wondering how it took me nearly two years to get to this point? I'm hoping that the next book will be relatively smooth sailing compared to the litany of schoolboy errors made in the production of the first one.Maybe I'll make whole new mistakes ,maybe I'll refuse to learn from my old ones and just plough through against all  logic and reason again. I can't help being excited A whole comic book written by me his about to materialise into the world for the amusement/entertainment of others. This is really happening people? don't panic

 The delightful Mr Silver has finished the inks for the Cover of book Two, Kreekraw and Kris:Taking The Piss. Since I'm mainly focusing on getting book one complete and sent out to it's backers The cover will not be coloured for a while.I'm now attempting to lean about the wonderful world of print files,pdfs and cymk type stuff. Every dream should be labelled "some assembly required"

One of my pages was actually missing some dialogue making the response to the absent line on the next page seem a little random and without context ...and it took me this long to notice it . I examined it, approved the drawing and sent it for colouring and then let it sit on my pc for week.Suddenly it came to me in my sleep there's a god dam word balloon missing . Better late than never ,I suppose it's better fucking up and correcting it now rather than having it go into print and forever become a splinter of glass in my brain about how stupid I was. Onwards and Upwards

  It's a strange thing when the comic is taken out of your hands.When you had the script you had control, now it's in the hands of others.Now it's about there interpretation, there take on it and all you can do is watch and give occasional notes. Fortunately I've been incredibly lucky,There takes on my stories have usually enhanced the story in ways I would never have imagined.Background details ,minor changes to the flow of the story and a myriad of other additions . Giving up control and sending your "baby" to others is hard ,but it's a lot easier when the others are like minded fuckers like yourself
