Nailing my colours to the mast part 2

Doug ernst was a blogger
railing against the changes in the comic industry.
An ex soldier and journalist,he joined youtube to reach a wider audience.
Meanwhile the over blown and passionate Capn cummins was already there
loudly expressing his distaste for the politics and terrible comics marvel was making.
I kind of thought of them as fire and water .
the calm, thoughtful ernst and the raw passion of the alex jones of comics youtube ,mr cummings.
Then came another ex military  man with a videos made on his shitty old phone.
He used to have to use bags of frozen goods to cool it down if he was streaming.
He came in somewhere in between the raw energy of the cap and the intellectual doug ,and his channel quickly exploded.
He drew a lot of heat with his highly critical reviews  .
It was almost as if comic writers had many years of comic sites just kissing there ass
and not doing any actual criticism??
So when a suddenly popular as hell youtube channel pops up doing what the sites should have been doing for the last ten years ,they collectively lost there shit.
He had industry insiders feeding him information, and frequently exposed the industry professionals terrible behaviour towards customers online.
All the disaffected fans with no where else to go seemed to rally round this channel realising they were not the only ones that thought this way and together they were powerful.
Comics youtubers began discussing gamergate and suggested they needed one for comics.
A consumer revolt against an industry that point blank refused to give its customers what they wanted
and insults them for daring to even ask .

Comics gate was born...
