Creating Comics At Last

It started off so well. The team are dealing with the emotional fall out of the snap.  The realisation that there little jaunt to the garden has failed, they cannot undo thanos' handiwork. Fast forward 5 years later and ant man suddenly shows up having been trapped in the quantum realm. Only hours have passed for him not years and so he theorizes the quantum realm could be used to  travel back in time to undo the snap. A bit of a leap to honest ,but ok. Then we have the first major clunker the next hour of the movie.We get utterly stupid rules for time travel that not only make no sense at all,but more importantly completely destroy the tension of the mission/heist. If as hulk says you can never change the present or future by altering the past it just create an alt time line, then why on earth did they need to sneak around?? They could have levelled the 1970s shield base with iron man tech and dug the cube out of the ruins if nothing matters.The sneaking around not ...

The comic book looks fabulous and I'm so happy to have an artist as enthusiastic about the project as myself.This time i'm waiting for more art before i launch my indiegogo. people apparently like to see lots to reassure them its not a rip off  or to get a complete sense of how the book will look. I was beginning to wonder if my scarily bad social skills might drive away the entire artist community on twitter.Fortunately People are cool with my constant faux paus. Having Aspergers is not as fun as they make it out in the media. I'm not a card counting rain man making a fortune in vegas I dont create computers to beat the nazis and I'm never going to be voted mr congeniality in.. anything at all unless its the morgue . All i can say is I was taught we were all put on this earth to help others and that's what I've tried to do with family friends etc . It has on occasion lead to me being shamelessly used by others taking advantage of my trusting naivety...

When last I blogged I was getting over the death of my father , a spectacularly failed indiegogo campaign and the jealously of seemingly everyone else's success in that area. Funny how a little while can change everything. I Sucked it up, even though all I wanted to do was sleep,and drink. I put out a notice on twitter for artist taking commissions  to give me there portfolio links and price lists. Rodrego (god bless his heart)re tweeted it  and made appeals of his own for artists. zilcho An artist I approached my self turned me down flat as my user name was comicsgatekeeper and he believed all the lies about it.he wished me luck but still a no.I decided against trying to educate him about the truth of the matter and the propaganda .I was more likely just piss him off rather than change his mind. So I received my disbursement from indiegogo and the colossal fees were taken. I was left with the money to do about two pages of the comic . The plan being to use these to promote the book for a crowd funding relaunch. Now the artist isn't doing new commissions and I have to find a new one for the additional pages which will now certainly be in a different style from the first. Two weeks politely waiting for a reply two weeks wasted. Now to begin again I've got to hunt for a new artist and compare prices and styles . Begin the indiegogo again and hope to hell I get more than 3 percent funding not be so pissed off at starting the whole thing again Still working on the anger thing. and the jealousy too.. So here I sit. A failed indiegogo under my belt and not exactly a song in my heart. I told myself I was fine Not all crowdfunders succeed  First timers doubly so . No one knows who you are .no one yet ,at least . Even if it fails you get your name out there and be better for next time. I was fine So it was more than a little concerning when I tried to smash the absolute fuck out of my computer monitor the other day. My slow pc ,several years old ,was making a 5 minute job into a 45 minute marathon. The next thing I knew I've wrenched the monitor up ready to use it as a hammer to Break my desk .?
